The reason behind the title ‘Mayanadhi’ was explained by Vignesh, Secretary of the Dramatix club, in his welcome address. “Mayanadhi depicts the human life. We are not acquainted with the upcoming stages in our life, which is the mystical nature of human life. Due to this uncertainty, we should not be overjoyed or disheartened over the latest occurrences in life. We should live in the present, waiting for the wonders the future offers”, he said.

The filler videos were equally entertaining and philosophical compared to the dance and short film. A tribute was paid to the lyrical genius Na. Muthukumar. His soul may have left the world, but his songs will always remain etched in our hearts. The Avvai Shanmugi – Remo version and Kung fu Panda – Baahubali version amused and delighted the audience. The video on women empowerment described the hardships faced by women in our country and celebrated  P.V. Sindhu, Sakshi Malik, Dipa Karmakar and other women who made India proud in their respective fields. The next filler was based on the Paralympians who had made our country proud. Though physically disabled, they proved that disability does not mean inability and showed that being mentally super-abled is what it takes to achieve the supreme goals in our life. A short video on non–violence and the role of youth in the deterrence of violence was put forth remembering Mahatma Gandhi on his birthday which is observed as the International Day of Non–Violence.
